WHY THEY CAME BACK
Although they left daytime for a while, these stars have found their way back to soaps.

Soap Opera Update, 2000.

Sean Kanan (Deacon, B&B)

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL scored a casting coup by hiring fan favorite and soap veteran Sean Kanan (ex-A.J., GENERAL HOSPITAL; Jude, SUNSET BEACH) to play Deacon Sharpe, ex-beau of the late Becky and the birth father of little Eric. Deacon's presence added a jolt to the already compelling story of who will gain ultimate custody of Becky's little boy.

"I know very little about my character," the actor shares, "but I've got a feeling that I'm not going to be such a good guy." Kanan had knowledge that Deacon had fathered a child and that the mother was now dead. Ironically, Kanan had come to the attention of B&B execs many years ago. He and Steve Burton (ex-Jason, GH) tested to be a love interest for Felicia Forrester ! That role never happened, but the folks at B&B have long memories!

With so many beautiful women on the soap, such as Morgan, Taylor, Brooke, Kimberly and Amber, there are plenty of potential love interests for Deacon.
