Even before GH's A.J. QUARTERMAINE climbed into the ring for a fight scene last year, his real-life alter ego Sean Kanan was hooked on boxing.

Any day he's not scheduled to appear before the GH cameras, you can find Sean sweating through a strenuous workout at Steele Town, a kickboxing center in Venice Beach, CA. The owner, Chris Steele, was hired as the fight coordinator for Sean's scenes on GH.

"We've been working together ever since," the handsome actor says. "I give Chris total credit for taking my existing knowledge of martial arts to a much higher level."

Sean, who played a bad guy in the hit flick Karate Kid III, invited SOAP OPERA MAGAZINE to follow him to the gym, where he keeps himself in tip-top shape. Afterward, he stopped at his favorite fruit stand, then headed home to replenish his energy with a refreshing and nutrition-charged fruit drink.
